Lanmar #Zone-75 is a custom PTFE zone tape configuration made from PTFE coated fiberglass fabric with high-temperature transfer adhesive applied only along the edges, creating an adhesive-free 0.75” center zone. This design is built for heat sealing equipment that uses a flexible nichrome ribbon wire heating element, where adhesive in the center can interfere with heating, create buildup, or contaminate the seal area.
The PTFE coated fiberglass surface provides excellent heat resistance, non-stick release, and mechanical strength, while the adhesive-free center zone helps keep the ribbon wire contact area clean for consistent sealing performance and longer component life.
