Lanmar PTFE Zone Tape Item #Zone5-1 is a made-to-order configuration of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric with a high-temperature transfer adhesive applied along the edges to create an adhesive-free center zone. This design is ideal for heat sealing equipment that uses a flexible nichrome ribbon wire heating element, where adhesive in the seal area can cause buildup, sticking, or inconsistent seals.
The PTFE surface delivers reliable non-stick release, helping reduce film and residue buildup on sealing components. The edge-adhesive layout keeps the center zone clear for the heating element, supporting consistent heat transfer and cleaner sealing performance.
