Lanmar PTFE Zone Tape Item #Zone6-1 is a made-to-order configuration of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric with a high-temperature transfer adhesive applied along the edges to create an adhesive-free 1” center zone. This design is built for heat sealing equipment that uses a flexible nichrome ribbon wire heating element, keeping adhesive away from the active seal area to support cleaner, more consistent sealing performance.
On ribbon wire heat sealers, adhesive in the center zone can lead to buildup, sticking, and premature wear. The adhesive-free center zone helps maintain proper contact and heat transfer while the PTFE surface provides non-stick release to reduce residue and downtime.
