Lanmar Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabrics are engineered for flexibility, high-temperature performance, and reliable release in industrial applications where standard materials cannot withstand heat, movement, or repeated use. Constructed from woven fiberglass cloth coated with silicone rubber, these fabrics provide a durable, flexible material for sealing, insulation, and conveyor systems.

Unlike PTFE-coated materials, silicone coated fiberglass fabrics offer greater flexibility and grip with controlled release, making them ideal for dynamic applications such as curtains, belts, and protective covers. These materials are available with single or double-sided silicone coatings, allowing customization based on performance requirements and operating conditions.

Lanmar silicone fiberglass fabrics operate within a temperature range of -110°F to +450°F, delivering consistent performance in moderate high-heat environments where flexibility and durability are critical. They are available in multiple thicknesses ranging from 0.010” to 0.040”, with varying coating weights and tensile strengths to support a wide range of industrial uses.

Common Applications

Lanmar silicone coated fiberglass fabrics are widely used in:

  • Heat shrink tunnel curtains and high-temperature barriers

  • Conveyor belts and belt lagging surfaces

  • Gaskets, seals, and expansion joints

  • Removable insulation covers and thermal blankets

  • Electrical insulation and protective wraps

  • Industrial curtains, shielding, and flexible connectors

  • Aerospace and high-performance insulation systems

These materials are particularly effective in applications requiring flexibility, thermal resistance, and mechanical durability, while maintaining consistent performance under repeated movement and heat exposure.

Lanmar supplies silicone coated fiberglass fabrics in roll form, slit widths, and custom-fabricated configurations to match specific equipment and processing requirements.
