Lanmar fabricates replacement and custom PTFE components for packaging machinery using premium PTFE coated fiberglass fabrics. Products include heat seal jaw covers, shrouds, and complex die-cut parts built to precise fit and performance requirements.

We work with customers to select the right material and design for each project. Fabrication covers a wide range of shapes, sizes, and thicknesses to suit specific equipment configurations. A one-time die fabrication fee may apply for certain custom designs.

PTFE Thread Seal Tape for Plumbing, Pipe Wrapping, and Industrial Sealing

Lanmar supplies standard grade white unsintered PTFE thread seal tape manufactured to exceed Mil-Spec T-27730A. Available in multiple widths and lengths in both regular and high-density grades, these tapes are suited for plumbing, pipe wrapping, and industrial sealing applications.

We also stock color-coded premium PTFE thread seal tapes for application-specific use: Yellow Gas Line, Green Oxygen, Pink Plumbers, Gray Stainless Steel, and White Premium High Density. All grades provide reliable sealing across a temperature range of -450°F to +550°F.

Nichrome Wire and Ribbon for Heat Sealing and Packaging Equipment

Lanmar supplies PTFE coated round nichrome wire (.020") and flat nichrome ribbon for use as heating elements in impulse sealers and other packaging machinery. We cross-reference many OEM part numbers to confirm proper fit and compatibility with your equipment.

Round nichrome wire is available in 100 ft and 1,000 ft spools. Flat nichrome ribbon is offered in 25 ft and 50 ft coils in a variety of widths and thicknesses. We also supply limited-quantity flat nichrome ribbon assemblies with silver-soldered wire leads for direct installation in specific packaging machines.

Silicone Sponge Tape for Heat Sealing Equipment, Gasketing, and Vibration Reduction

Silicone sponge tape, commonly called Strip-N-Stick tape, is used as a cushioning base in heat sealing equipment to support nichrome sealing wire at the seal point. It is also well suited for vibration reduction, gasketing, and thermal insulation in industrial and packaging applications.

Manufactured from silicone sponge with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, this tape bonds securely to most surfaces and performs reliably from -100°F to 450°F.
