High Modulus PTFE Film Tape (Premium Grade)

High modulus PTFE film tape is made from oriented PTFE film for low elongation and improved wear resistance. It holds its shape under tension and repeated thermal cycling, making it ideal where dimensional stability matters.

Common uses include:

• Heat sealing jaws and contact surfaces

• Transformer and coil manufacturing (wire wrapping, insulation layers)

• Electrical insulation for capacitors and slot liners

Skived PTFE Film Tape (Standard Grade)

Skived PTFE film tape is produced by skiving PTFE block material into a thin film. It offers higher elongation and excellent conformability, allowing it to wrap irregular surfaces without wrinkling while still providing low friction and chemical resistance.

Common uses include:

• Wire and coil insulation

• High-temperature masking and protection

• Anti-friction surfaces and sliding interfaces

• General high-heat applications requiring tight conformability

Both constructions are available with high-temperature silicone adhesive.
